Grab your craft supplies and creative kiddos for our new series of virtual family-friendly events. Hop on Zoom as MAH Learning & Engagement Manager, Jamie Keil, takes you through a hands-on art activity alongside featured artists from our upcoming exhibition In These Uncertain Times.
For our first edition of Virtual Family Day on January 23rd, we'll be making collages. We have all been through a lot this past year so this Family Day Series is starting with some reflective and healing art.
Featuring artists from In These Uncertain Times, Myra Eastman & Sofia Treadwell, this event will include different projects and activities focusing on processing our feelings through art. Good for all ages, we recommend bringing paper, coloring utensils, scissors, magazines, old books, news clippings, stickers, tape, dried flowers, or any other items you want to collage plus tape or glue.
Register via Eventbrite to receive the Zoom link. Once you have the Zoom link you can stay the whole time or pop in and out when you can on January 23rd. You can sign up to become a MAH Member here to receive free admission and support the MAH while you're at it.
We look forward to seeing you online as we stay connected and creative through these challenging times.

Stop. It Will Be Okey – At the start of the pandemic, 9-year-old Sofia sat down and made this to reassure herself that it will all be ok. The piece remains on our mantle as a colorful reminder to all of us.
