Gallery Attendants
Assist museum visitors, answer questions about the exhibitions, and monitor galleries to ensure the best guest experience.
- Thursdays and Fridays: 12–8pm,
- Saturdays and Sundays: 12–6pm
- Mondays: 9am–1pm
- Minimal training required, bilingual a plus

Event Tabling & Community Flyering
Help us spread the word beyond the museum walls! Connect directly with our neighbors by tabling at local events and festivals, sharing information about upcoming exhibitions and programs. You can also help out with community flyering—distributing promotional materials to local businesses, cafes, and community boards to ensure everyone in town knows what’s happening at the MAH.

Volunteer at Evergreen Cemetery
Join a team of amazing, weekly volunteers who help maintain one of the oldest public cemeteries in California, Evergreen Cemetery. Swing by to help with basic gardening like pulling weeds and clearing walkways, all while discovering Santa Cruz County History. Gloves and tools are provided. Explore the grounds. Meet other local history buffs. Discover more about the people who made Santa Cruz what it is today. No need to RSVP, just stop by ready to work.
