To kick off Asian American and Pacific Islander History Month, the MAH and UCSC’s Watsonville is in the Heart (WIITH) research initiative will co-host an Educators' Mixer. The event allows educators to meet with WIITH team members working to produce educational resources about Filipino American history in Santa Cruz County. Resources include free lesson plans, demonstrations of digital teaching tools, and access to MAH exhibits, including Sowing Seeds: Filipino American Stories from the Pajaro Valley, which will be on view starting April 12, 2024.

This is a free event; participants can visit current exhibits afterward. Refreshments will be provided. Space is limited. Registration is required and is confirmed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Thank you for understanding.

What are MAH Mixers?

These mixers have been created to offer support in developing and delivering inclusive programming and outreach initiatives for those working in educational environments. The MAH hopes to collaborate with and support Santa Cruz County's more extensive academic networks by providing and sharing resources, advocating for members of our community, and building coalitions.
