Octagon Building
The Museum of Art & History has a partnership at the McPherson Center with Lulu’s at the Octagon. Under the direction of Marla Novo, Curator of History Exhibitions and Collections for the Museum, exhibitions featuring contemporary California art with an emphasis upon Santa Cruz artists will be installed in the coffee house at 118 Cooper Street. Our new satellite location offers the Museum an opportunity to respond to emerging artists in our community as well as showcase work related to the exhibitions in the Museum. The new series of exhibitions, extending the boundaries of the Museum through alternative sites, is a recipient of funds from the Roy Rydell Fund at the Community Foundation of Santa Cruz County.
