Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California Exhibition
How clay and glass objects are made
Exhibited from December 18 2010–March 13 2011
The Association of Clay and Glass Artists of California, with over 500 elected members, is dedicated to establishing and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and design in clay and glass. The ACGA began as the Association of San Francisco Potters in 1945. With this exhibition, our community and visitors will have the opportunity to learn about how clay and glass objects are made. We will highlight recent developments and technologies relative to the medium, and the exhibition will include many forms, styles and techniques of utilitarian and non-utilitarian ceramic and glass works.
The glass component of this exhibition, guest curated by Annie Morhauser of Annieglass, will be on view in the Atrium January 8-March 13, 2011.
