Learn the basic characteristics of the most common mental health diagnoses and gain the skills to provide effective care.
Hosted by the Health Projects Center these workshops help you learn effective communication skills and techniques to improve interactions with your loved ones. Know the warning signs of potentially dangerous situations and when and where to go for help. Gain confidence when working with care receivers who have a mental health diagnosis.

The Health Projects Center
The Del Mar Caregiver Resource Center is a program of Health Projects Center serving Monterey, Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties. Health Projects Center is a private nonprofit 501c 3 community-based health organization that has been serving California’s Central Coast since 1980.
The Del Mar Caregiver Resource is affiliated with the California Department of Health Care Services's state-wide Caregiver Resource Center network, serving people who care for a family member or friend, over 18 years old, with brain impairment resulting from conditions such as stroke, head injury, AIDS, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
