Waking Up Launch Reading & Celebration

Come celebrate the launch of a new anthology of poetry by Santa Cruz County teens.

10 contributors will read their poems. The Santa Cruz County Youth Poet Laureate Program (SCCYPL), in partnership with Sixteen Rivers Press, is thrilled to announce the publication of Waking Up: Teen Poems of Resistance and Resilience. This new poetry anthology from teens throughout the county includes contributions from five high schools and two colleges.

Free, snacks provided. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event.
