Volunteer at Evergreen Cemetery this MLK Day
Join the effort to imagine Evergreen Cemetery as an inspiring site for learning local history. Help maintain the final resting place of all the 1800's gold prospectors, artists, Chinese immigrants, mountain men, and forgotten pioneers buried in Evergreen Cemetery.
As one of the MAH's offsite locations the cemetery is maintained primarily by volunteer led efforts. This day is open to all and is a great introduction to the work being done to preserve this local treasure.
Stay till noon to get a free tour of the cemetery.
