Welcome Back! What better way to show our appreciation for your support than with a members only preview of iconic Santa Cruz art.

About this event
Step into the studio of legendary Santa Cruz artist, Jim Phillips, creator of the iconic Screaming Hand artwork, and browse work largely unseen since 1984. His creations have traversed the globe while becoming synonymous with American skate and surf culture.

The Art of the Santa Cruz Speed Wheel
is a look back in time celebrating the art, the ads, and the skaters from the Golden Years of Santa Cruz Speed Wheels: 1985-1991.

This free event will feature a heat press station in collaboration with Herschel, plenty of fun photo opportunities, and some special guests. We’ll also hear from MAH Executive Director, Robb Woulfe and NHS President & CEO, Bob Denike.

Developed in partnership with NHS and Herschel, this exhibition at the MAH officially kicks off the world-wide tour of the collection and you get to see it first.
