Picture This: Belonging Builds Community

Beginning in 2026, Housing Matters presents Picture This: Belonging Builds Community, a quarterly storytelling and conversation series exploring belonging, connection, and community care in Santa Cruz County.

Each event opens with a featured storyteller sharing a personal experience of belonging and what it means to feel seen, supported, and included. A local community partner then joins for a facilitated discussion on how belonging shows up in practice and how inclusive spaces are built across our County. The evening concludes with small-group reflection and a shared invitation to take one meaningful action toward a more connected community.
