Memorial Day: Honoring Our Veterans Buried at Evergreen Cemetery (10AM & 1PM tours)

Step into the Past with historian Traci Bliss and Sentinel history writer Ross Gibson

for a captivating journey through the lives of Santa Cruz’s pioneer veterans. From the War of 1812 through the Civil War, uncover the heroic stories and enduring legacy of the men whose values helped shape our community, including the Army captain and adventurer who made Evergreen Cemetery possible.

Guided tours are 75 minutes long and start at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Each tour is limited to 22 participants—reserve your spot early!
All attendees will receive a commemorative American flag to take home.
