March Creativity Kit Launch Date
Friday, March 5, 2021,
11am - 2pm
Located behind Abbott Square
Free
We're making crafting at home a whole lot easier. At the beginning of each month swing by the MAH to pick up a new, free crafting kit that includes supplies and step-by-step instructions.
Pick up your creativity kit, located on the shelves next to the Community Fridge, inside our outdoor exhibition, Community is Collective Care.
This month, our creativity kit will be a DIY Kite making project that will look like a flying fish! Perfect for some upcoming warm weather, Spring Hill School and the MAH worked together to create an amazing design thinking project to recreate a Windsock, Koinobori Kite. In this kit, you will be provided some simple materials and fun opportunities to do your own design. Get creative, play in the wind and run around being chased by your kite.
We'll be in Abbott Square on March 5th between 11am-2pm handing out kits. Or stop by throughout the month to get one off the shelves while supplies last.
Special thanks to Spring Hill School for their help this month in crafting and compiling all the supplies!
Spring Hill is a private elementary school in Santa Cruz that provides an engaging environment designed around the joy of learning. This is a community of educators and parents defined by its commitment to supporting each child as they explore. We are an elementary school with small classes and BIG learning.
