About the Artists
1 A.M. is a female emcee, producer, and songwriter from Gilroy, who has taken the Monterey Bay by storm in the last couple years. She already has a vast discography on Bandcamp and Spotify, and her new project "Windows" is almost ready for release. Creator of Golden Treez Music, she also produces for many other artists in the area.
Khan is an emcee, event creator, and youth educator whose work spans both Santa Cruz & San Jose. He's been putting together consistent independent shows at various local venues, as well as putting out some truly phenomenal projects such as "Occupied" produced by Ghost Hour and "The Dead Kennedy Tape" in collaboration with Nexus and DJ Kai. Catch a fresh performance of songs from his new album "Code Switching." When you see Khan on the mic, class is in session.
A self-described Hip Hop Monk, deejaying is a meditative practice (which means: hella fun!) for Monk Earl, and he's been bringing that joy to clubs and music venues around Santa Cruz for the last few years. This is a true to form DJ, who expertly weaves eras and genres together to create the ultimate party vibe for all!
