Hear from local historians in this new webinar series celebrating the recently launched virtual exhibition, Queer Santa Cruz.
The Santa Cruz Dyke March began in 1994 and made waves in the local Queer Pride movement. Hear from those that were there at the beginning to learn how it started and how it continues to impact Santa Cruz County today.
In April the MAH was supposed to open a Santa Cruz Queer History Exhibit created in partnership with the Diversity Center. However, due to the shelter in place orders, the MAH will unveil the exhibit online first. To help you “view” the different parts of the exhibit, learn more about our queer history and keep the MAH & Diversity Center working together while working from home the two organizations are initiating a series of webinars about the different stories related to Santa Cruz Queer History.
Stay tuned for more webinars, behind the scene tours, and the virtual exhibit coming soon.
