In the days following our celebration at Evergreen Cemetery on November 1st, the MAH along with the help of local organizations and individuals has created another large ofrenda (altar) to be displayed through the windows of the museum.

Stop by the MAH and step into the Secret Garden to view the altar and hold space for reflection between November 2nd through 7th. We'll also be freshening up the chalk art that was created a few weeks ago in Abbott Square for you to enjoy anew. Take this moment to sit amongst the greenery of the garden, remember those you have lost, and join in this reimagined community celebration of life.

FINAL CELEBRATION ON SATURDAY: Stop by on November 7th for the final day of our annual Día de los Muertos celebration with Senderos. Popping up with more educational Día information, free creativity kits to take home, and marigolds placed all around, stop by between 12-3:30pm for the final gathering.

How do you honor loved ones present and passed? Tag the MAH @santacruzmah or with the hashtag #DiaAtTheMAH to share your answers.
