We are thrilled by the overwhelming response of our community to answer the call for volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has registered to volunteer and we look forward to hosting you on Saturday. The sign up form for volunteers is now closed.

____

In June of 2020 Santa Cruz became the very first city in the U.S. to work with the City government to not only approve a Black Lives Matter (BLM) mural, but also to build a sustainable plan surrounding this public art that includes continued annual Juneteenth events, community involvement, and ongoing mural maintenance.

The MAH is supporting mural organizers to recruit volunteer painters and sanitation helpers on September 12th from 10am-5pm. If you'd like to be a part of this day, please fill out the form linked below.

Once you sign up look for a follow-up email from a MAH staff member by September 10th to confirm your role during the event.

Please maintain a safe distance at this event and wear a mask. Your mask protects me, and my mask protects you. Thank you for looking out. We'll see you out there!
