For our second episode, we discuss the upcoming event "Women Who Rock Our World", a celebration of women's transformational contributions to the counterculture of Santa Cruz. We sat down to chat with John Leopold, who is helping with the organizing of the event, and local midwife Kate Bowland, who will be one of the wonderful presenters. Other participants in the event are historian Douglas Brinkley, Lynda Francis, and Anne Steinhardt, The Ace of Cups and other special guests, hosted by Wallace Baine. All proceeds benefiting Monarch Family Services. The event is at the Rio Theater of Friday May 17th, 2019 at 7:00pm.
