The Art and Artists of Santa Cruz County
The History Publications Committee of the Museum of Art & History is pleased to announce that History Journal No. 10 will be devoted to the history of the art and artists of Santa Cruz County.
Artists represented in the journal will have had a significant impact on the local community or their profession through their work prior to 1980. Visiting artists will not be represented. The goal is to document the lives and work of approximately 75 artists.
Planning for History Journal No. 10 has begun, and the Committee is soliciting proposals for contributions. Authors of articles will be asked to submit their finished contributions in late 2024, with publication expected approximately nine months later.

Please include the following:
1. The Artist’s birth and if applicable death date, or organization year of formation.
2. A short description of the significance of their contribution AND their influence or impact on their local community prior to 1980.
