From 1996 to 2026, the MAH has been the heartbeat of Santa Cruz County’s creative spirit. As we hit our 30-year milestone, we’re inviting you to be a permanent part of our history through the 30 for 30 Challenge.
The Challenge is simple: We’re looking for community members to donate $30 during the 30-day window from May 15 to June 15. It’s a small gift with a massive impact, helping us kick off our next three decades of community centered exhibitions and programs.

Your $30 contribution directly supports our upcoming exhibition, Santa Cruz Guitar Company: The First 50 Years. This showcase celebrates the incredible craftsmanship and global influence of our local luthiers, or guitar-makers. To show our gratitude, every donor who completes the challenge will have their name featured on the Supporter Recognition Wall in the exhibition.
