Brent Gifford has been a magician for 40 years and a clinical hypnotherapist for 10 years.  He will bring a new perspective to reading Poe with interactive demonstrations using subliminal language.  The audience will learn what causes us to remember what we read as if it really occurred and the way Poe took advantage of this.  You’ll use all your senses.

This show will scare you, and you will love it.

Ever wondered what it’s like to work behind the scenes at a museum? MAH volunteers are dedicated members of our community who contribute to educational programs, evening events, collections care, and everyday operation of the museum. New this season, the Museum is open until 9pm on the third Friday of every month and features rotating programming ranging from game nights to films to behind-the-scenes tours of the Museum. Tonight, go off the beaten path to explore the far corners of the Museum and discover rare, unique, and exceptional works of art behind-the-scenes. Get a sneak peak of the new exhibitions opening the following day. All activities included with general Museum admission.

Join us on December 10 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Stars, the Museum’s annual fundraising gala. This “Roaring 20s” themed event features an art auction, culinary fare and dancing. All proceeds support the Museum’s exhibitions, collections, events and educational programs throughout the year. New evening hours at the MAH from 5-9pm every 3rd Friday of the month! The Museum invites visitors to a new monthly evening event featuring rotating programming with music, art, drinks, demonstrations and workshops. 3rd Friday offers an alternate evening outing to ignite your creativity, connect with your community, experience and experiment with contemporary art, and meet new people with common interests. Come experience, participate and contribute to our upcoming 3rd Friday.
