Special Events
Each year the Board of Trustees hosts two fundraising events to support the Museum programming. The Plein Air Affaire inspires artists to paint “en plein air” throughout Santa Cruz County in the month of July. On the second weekend in July artists bring their works to Abbott Square for a public exhibition and sale. STARS is the Museum’s Gala and Benefit Auction held on the first Saturday Evening of December each year. The Museum is transformed to the theme of the year and original works of art, travel packages, and more are available in a live and silent auction.
