Why Donate to the MAH?
It takes a lot to make a museum happen–to provide educational programs to thousands of schoolkids from throughout Santa Cruz county, to present inspiring contemporary art and history exhibitions, to maintain a welcoming community space that invites people of all backgrounds to explore their creativity and shared roots.
Specifically, it takes the MAH about $3,000 every day to do our work with the community. Some of that money comes from grants and admissions fees, but most of it comes from people like you who care passionately about art, history, education, and culture. When you make a donation to the MAH, you make a gift to the whole community. You enable us to fulfill our mission of promoting a greater understanding of contemporary art and Santa Cruz history for the benefit of Santa Cruz County residents and visitors. You make the inspiration, the delight, and the learning possible.

2. Write us a check and drop it off or mail it to us at 705 Front Street, Santa Cruz, CA 95060. If you drop it off in person, get ready for an effusive thank you on the spot.
3. Call Karen Bush at 831-429-1964 x7021. Karen can receive secure credit card donations over the phone, and she can also tell you more about how to make gifts of stock, gifts in memory of a loved one, planned gifts, or gifts that are designated for a special purpose.
