Karla Bogard Fund: Educating Children in the Visual Arts
This fund, established in memory of Karla Bogard, a celebrated Santa Cruz Plein Air artist, teacher, and Museum of Art & History Trustee, provides ongoing support for the Museum's Artistic Adventures: Art Focused School Tours, Art Camps, Classroom Art Trunks, and Family Art Workshops.
Cash Contributions
Your generosity enables MAH to fulfill its mission of promoting a greater understanding of contemporary art and Santa Cruz history for the benefit of Santa Cruz County residents and visitors. Donations to the General Fund provide operating support for The Museum of Art & History’s exhibitions, collections and educational programming. Large gifts may be directed to our Endowment Fund set up to ensure the future of the services and programs we provide our community.
Collections Initiative
The Collections Initiative is a multi-year project, launched in 2007, that enhances the ability of Museum staff to protect and preserve the objects and materials entrusted in its care. The massive project of inventorying, cataloguing, and re-housing not only enables us to be better caretakers, it gives our staff and visitors greater accessibility to the collection. Please contact the Development Department to schedule a collections tour and learn more about contributing to the Collections Initiative.

Whether supported through an outright gift or planned gift, The Museum of Art & History’s programs are made possible through the generosity of our donors. A planned gift to The Museum of Art & History @ the McPherson Center helps to ensure the future of the services and programs we provide our community and may further your financial goals. Planned gifts include gifts through your will, charitable gift annuities, gifts of life insurance, pooled income funds, and charitable trusts.
