PechaKucha Night; Found in Santa Cruz

PKHeaderJoin us for a night of creative, personal and fun presentations that will push the boundaries of traditional lectures. In the traditional PechaKucha format, we have invited community members to present on the chosen theme, Work in Progress,  to compliment our current exhibitionPechaKucha comes from the Japanese term for the sound of “Chit Chat”. Originating from Tokyo, this innovative presentation format is a creative, informal, fast-paced and concise.
The esteemed Greg Pepping will be hosting the following confirmed presenters to date:

Amber Hickey, Artist, UCSC PhD Candidate for Visual Studies

Sadino Gomez, Youth Empowerment Coordinator @ The Resource Center for Nonviolence

Sophie McCallum-Spalaris, teen Filmmaker and coordinator of LunaFest at the MAH
