Historic Photo Processes Forum
Note: This event has passed.
Photographer and historian Scott Bilotta will be the featured speaker at the January 26th meeting of the Historic Photo Processes Forum at the Santa Cruz Museum of Art & History. Bilotta, a leading collector and authority on vintage cameras (www.vintagephoto.tv), will discuss historic and contemporary techniques for capturing and assembling tricolor photographic images. His presentation will include a display of early color cameras as well as examples of tri-color color prints made using Photoshop tools.
The Forum is a unique meeting place for the exchange of technical information and aesthetic visions among photographers who use vintage printmaking processes. The monthly meetings offer presentations by expert guest speakers as well as exhibits by Forum participants. Previous Forum meetings have discussed Platinum, Gum and Color Carbon prints.
